Here is a very brief overview of the Rottweilers origin. The Rottweiler breed has a history dating back to the Roman Empire, where their ancestors were used as drover dogs to herd cattle. They were later developed in the German town of Rottweil, becoming known as "Rottweiler Metzgerhund" or Rottweil butcher's dogs, due to their work herding livestock and pulling carts of meat. Over time, they were also utilized as police dogs and in various working roles. This is a very versatile breed that can do almost anything.

We are Code Of Ethics breeders. Our own breeding dogs are health tested above and beyond what is suggested by the Canine Health Information Center guidelines for the Rottweiler Breed. We test and reveal all results for the following; hips, elbows, dentition, patellas, eyes and heart (results are listed with OFA), DNA Long Coat Gene testing and DNA testing for DM and JLPP.
